OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

  1. To promote cultural assets and create cultural cooperation in the cross-border area, within the framework of the implementation of the proposed activities.
  2. Establishment of a network of collaboration between the partners, which will lead to further, future cooperation
  3. Exchange of experince, bets practices and expertise in the cultural field
  4. Familiarization of the citizens of each participating country with the the culture of the other country through the organization of the promotional tours;
  5. Promotion of the cultural sites of Evros and Smolyan, through the organization of promotional tours
  6. Enhancement of the skills of professionals working in the cultural tourism sector, through the organization of the promotional tours.

  • Organization of Promotional Tours in Bulgaria & Greece
    • Target group: touroperator, journalists, representatives of cultural/tourist institutions, etc.;
    • Number of Participants: 20 form BG/20 from Greece
  • Organization of trainings for experts in the field of cultural tourism:
    • Venue: Smolyan/Alexandroupolis
    • Training duration: 3 days (15 hours);
    • Number of trainees: 15 (experts in the field of cultural tourism from Smolyan & Kardzhali district)/Åvros (GR)
